The Compare Platform requires the selection of a Car Make & the input of an Original Equipment Manafacturer (OEM) Part Number (i.e. 000200323 or 000-200-73-23, maintaining any leading zeros). Alternatively, you can Click/Select a Part Number from the already captured parts for each Car Make and view/update the Prices of the available options (You can select the Car Make by Clicking the Car Make Logo or from the Make drop-down List). Make sure your browser is setup to allow pop-up messages.

Find the OEM Part Number by selecting a Car Make and visiting a Provider’s Site from the drop-down list of the (Find Part #) button, then select the Year, Model, & Trim of your car & search the Wholesaler/Retailer Online Catalog for the Part Number using keywords or VIN/Chassis # (most of the online catalogs recognize the VIN of cars made in the US or imported & sold in the US). Copy & Paste the “OEM Part #” into the related field in the Compare page and click the Search button (If the Site Information and Search Field are not shown, adjust the accepted site cookies and press Ctrl-F5 to refresh the page).

The Compare platform will 1st verify and capture Options from any added Providers, and you can click the Update Prices and/or Update Missing Options buttons to update the referenced options. Options are sorted by Lowest Price and Provider’s Web Site Domain Name.

Click the Search button OR a Part Number from the displayed list to refresh the Options or to get out of the Missing Options list.

If the query status is "queued", it means the resources are serving other users, please wait, as it is a first come, first serve service, or cancel and try again later.

If the updated options or prices are less than the number of sites, Click “Update Missing/Uncaptured Options button” or “Update Prices button” to update the Uncaptured Options/Prices.

The (Fits?/View) button: When sites are searched for a Part Number, the query results may show multiple Options/Variations for the same Part Number. To optimize performance, we only select the 1st Option in the Response and the (Fits?) button can be used to verify Fitness & Alternatives for a “Found” part, while the (View) button may be used to verify the current status of a Missing Option. If the Part Information is not shown, adjust the accepted site cookies and press Ctrl-F5 to refresh the page.

The "Brand" Field: Alternative OEM Parts are offered by some Providers. We only select the 1st Option in the Response and the "Brand" field will show the Part's Brand.

The Price(s) or Option(s) Update is not progressing: The platform will wait up to 5 seconds for a Provider’s page to be loaded in order to capture the Part’s Information. If the update is not progressing, click the "Cancel" button next to the Progress Bar and wait while the Query consolidates the results, then try the update again. Sometimes Web Sites can’t be reached due to their scheduled maintenance or changes to their content, and the platform will log the incidents for investigation & rectification. The Price and other part information in a listed option are different from the Provider's page when clicking the Fits button: If you selected the Vehicle Details (i.e. year, model, & trim) at the Provider’s Site previously, then the Fits Button will show the information for the Part that fits the selected Vehicle Details. Clear any previously selected Vehicle Details at the Provider's site or delete the site’s cookies and Click Fits again. We capture the response of a Retailer/Wholoesaler for a search of an OEM Part Number, and sometimes the Part Name, Information, and Image do not reflect the actual OEM Part Number and it’s Description. Such providers will show a different Part Number or a variation of the OEM Part Number, and when reported by users, will be listed as Missing Options with Doesn’t Reflect OEM Part Description in Other Info. To return to an Update Query in progress on the Mobile version after visiting another tab/page on the site, Click the “Back” button, then Click the X to close the site’s Tabs list.

Due to technical issues, the PDF download may have some missing Providers’ Logos or Parts Images, and the mobile version PDF download will only capture a max of 10 or 12 options.

Each Parse & Update Query will stop after the 5th “Not Found” Option and a max of 5 “Not Found” Options will be Parsed & Updated per query.

The comparison engine performance is dependent on the available applications memory. Devices with less than 4GB of applictions memory may experience slow performance.
